 The Hope Heart Institute, in partnership with The Best Effort Camps, is joining Seattle Parks and Recreation, Tukwila Parks and Recreation and Renton Parks and Recreation for a one-of-a kind basketball camp to promote children’s health!

Throughout the month of July, join Seattle Parks and Recreation for The Best Efforts Camps, with a theme “Let’s Cease to be Obese!” Click here to register kids, ages 8-15 for this FREE camp.
Tukwila and Renton
Join The Hope and Washington State University Women’s Basketball Coach June Daugherty and her players and staff for a youth basketball camp in Renton and Tukwila Parks and Recreation August 4-6th. The Best Efforts Camps presents 3-days of hands-on basketball skills training combined with The Hope Heart Institute’s educational lessons on making healthy choices, understanding your body and your heart, and making goals to live healthier!

The Hope Heart Institute invites All Girls to Play some Hoops! (Limited to 1st 70 registrants)
Join us for 2-day basketball camp with instruction provided by Washington State University Women’s
Basketball coach June Daugherty and WSU coaching staff and players.
August 4th & 5th, 2008 5-7pm
Wyckoff Gym at St. Joseph’s School
Open to all girls entering 4th through 8th grades this fall. Limited to the first 70 girls registered.
Registration is required.
A donation to The Hope Heart Institute of $75 per enrollee is encouraged to help underwrite event costs.

June Daugherty one of the most respected and winningest college basketball coaches in the nation, she was a finalist for the prestigious coach of the year award while coaching at the University of Washington. Daugherty is a member of the Ohio State University Athletic Hall of Fame for her work as a college player.
