Medical Director of cardiothoracic surgery at Overlake Hospital Medical Center, and co-authors Thomas Amidon, MD, cardiologist, and Stephen Amidon, novelist, who will share excerpts from their recently released book, “The Sublime Engine: A Biography of the Human Heart”, a historical look at humankinds’ enduring fascination with our most essential organ, the heart.
