Be Heart Smart:

What Women Should Know About their

Cardiovascular Health & Chocolate Reception,

Health Screenings, Outreach, and Lecture/Presentation

 

Please join us for a fun, informative evening, and find out what you do to improve your odd against having a heart attack. Discussion will include identifying risk faction and symptoms for coronary artery disease and learning what current and innovative diagnostic and treatment options are available today. Men are welcome!

 

Presenters include Vu T. Huang. Medical Director of cardiothoracic surgery at Overlake Hospital Medical Center, and co-authors Thomas Amidon, MD, cardiologist, and Stephen Amidon, novelist, who will share excerpts from their recently released book, “The Sublime Engine: A Biography of the Human Heart”, a historical look at humankinds’ enduring fascination with our most essential organ, the heart.
