Cardiovascular Research at The Hope

heart2.jpgWith a bench-to-bedside approach to research, The Hope is a leading private, nonprofit, cardiovascular research institution specializing in clinical studies, basic research and translational medicine.

The Hope conducts
clinical trials with patients in more than two-dozen physician's offices around Western Washington. Clinical programs are aimed at testing new medications, devices and treatment methods in an effort to improve the overall standard of care in the treatment of heart disease. These trials could lead to new treatments for patients in a very short time.

In conjunction with
The Benaroya Research Institute at Virginia Mason The Hope conducts basic sciences and translational medicine studies to find new avenues of combating heart disease through the study of cells, blood vessels and gene therapies. These scientific programs will change the way heart disease is treated, and prevented, in the future.
