» Preventing Heart Disease
Cardiovascular disease is the number one killer of all Americans. But there are things you can do to protect yourself! That is called Prevention.

The Hope Heart Institute provides prevention programs through education and health screening.

Programs like Kids Take Heart, Youth Take Heart and Women Take Heart provide adults and children tools they can use to help prevent heart disease.

The Hope's Clinical Research Program also provides prevention tools for patients through screening for Stroke, Peripheral Arterial Disease and Aortic Aneurysm. These screenings, not typically covered by insurance, are a quick and simple way to test your susceptibility to these three major risk factors for heart disease.
